Reef Stakes® asked 4 Marine Biologists during the Movement Control Order
As the world faced the COVID-19 pandemic, Malaysia was not spared.
While this means that many could not go to work under the Movement Control Order, it also meant that the Reef Stakes® team found some time to speak to Malaysia’s very own homegrown marine biologists. We’ve managed to convince a four of them to answer some burning questions crowdsourced from the Malaysian public.
In a span of 4 days, we had the privilege to speak to:
Dr. Adam Lim Chee Ooi from Save Our Seahorses Malaysia;
Ms. Saliza Bono from MareCet Research Organisation;
Mr. Alvin Chelliah from Reef Check Malaysia; and
Dr. Chen Pelf Nyok from Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia.
