Reef Stakes®, the award-winning local-made tabletop card game successfully launched the third edition entitled: Radiant Hope. This edition replaces the current ‘Living Coral’ edition which ran from 2019-2021.

Created by four Malaysian marine biologists, Reef Stakes® designed to mimic real-life stakeholder relationships, introduce some of Malaysia’s most iconic marine species and highlight threats to coral reefs. Since the first version in 2018, it has reached out to more than 3,000 people and played in more than 10 countries. It was also the winner of the 8^th International Educational Games Competition (IEGC).

According to co-founder, Liew Hui Ling the title and design palette of this edition was conceptualized to symbolize the renewed hope after emerging from many challenging events in 2020 and 2021. “Radiant Hope, to us, represents resilience, perseverance and sheer human spirit as we continue into 2022.” she added.
