Universiti Malaysia Terengganu

The ‘Glean Team’ consists of eight core members from different courses in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) who are passionate about the environmental issues. As a YSEALI YOUnified 2018 grantee, the team organized ‘The Glean Fun Day’ on the 22nd to the 23rd of December 2018 in Mydin Gong Badak in Terengganu. The event reached out and shared the environmental knowledge with the public though simple and interactive methods. Reef Stakes was used as a medium to remedy the lack of awareness at a local level on plastic waste management and conservation. Through such activities, the team hopes to encourage youth leaders in local communities to take action on environmental issues.
