Winner of the North American Association for Environmental Education 30 under 30 Changemaker Grant 2021, Project Reef Spawn was developed to incorporate both online learning and practical sessions to deliver effective environmental education specifically for the marine environment. The project has three components:

Gyre – Development of three (3) educational animation videos focusing on the threats towards key marine ecosystems in Malaysia – Mangrove, Seagrass and Coral Reefs.

Budding and Broadcast – Capacity development of 12 selected youths through virtual and hands-on activities. The youths aged 18-25 will be develop skills on various subject matter (marine conservation, communications and project development) as well as experience first hand the issues that threaten the marine environment.
