After months of planning and consultation, the Reef Stakes® team is ready to announce our launch on the 16th of December 2018!

Founded in 2017, Reef Stakes® is the brainchild of four (4) environmentally passionate Malaysians, all having marine conservation background. The game is designed to mimic real-life stakeholder relationships in determining the future of a reef ecosystem. It would also introduce some of Malaysia’s most iconic marine species and local threats to coral reefs.

With the tagline, ‘Build. Protect. Balance’, Reef Stakes® aims to engage and educate people to think about the challenges faced by our marine environments. Winners of the YSEALI Seeds of the Future Grant 2018, the team has worked tirelessly to finalize designs and print material for the launch.

At the launch, 50 sets of the game will be distributed at the launch to education institutions, conservation NGOs and dive centers in Malaysia. Recipients will be using the game in their own environmental advocacy work.
